SCVA Beach Volleyball for Club Players

Get readyfor Club Beach this summer! Starting this summer Southern California Club Volleyball players will have the opportunity to compete against other clubs in doubles beach competition. Club beach volleyball features competition between clubs from across all of Southern California and is sanctioned by the SCVA. SCVA BEACH organizes beach volleyball tournaments for youth boys and girls club volleyball players in Southern California.

Recent Updates!

1. No restrictions or penalties for mid-season partner changes. We understand that players and their families will be traveling this summer and flexibility in partnering is a must. Directors must still submit team registration by entry deadline.

2. Individual Player Registration Fee has been lowered to $40 per event.

3. Uniforms optional this season. Due to time and logistical considerations we will not require players to wear matching uniforms this year.

4. We are excited to announce the addition of Long Beach as a tournament location.

5. Player now have the flexibliity to enter any of our 13 tournaments. Players may enter as many events as the want. The top 3 team finishes will be used for seeding in the SCVA BEACH Championships. Each club may only enter two teams per age division per event. Clubs must get approval if they wish to add more than 2 teams per age division per event. Registration is first come first serve. If tournaments fill up we will attempt to add additional dates as needed.

6. The 2009 SCVA BEACH Championships will be held on October 10th-11th in Long Beach. The top teams from each club will compete for individual team awards, overall age division champions and the 2009 SCVA BEACH Club Cup awarded to the top overall club.
